About Joe...

My History...

Following in my father's footsteps, I joined the P&C insurance industry in 1982 after graduating from Marist College.  And with this, my 35-year trek in the Claims arena had begun.  During my career, I gained a deep understanding of the insurance claims business, including why insurers do what they do, what motivates their decisions, and how other factors can  often influence those decisions.  I functioned highly effectively at all levels, from trainee to executive, with several insurers and related companies.  And after 35 years without a two-week vacation (seriously), I decided the time was right to work for myself.

My boss is tough, but fair....

My Approach...

I approach each engagement with a thoroughly open mind, first considering the available information and documentation before making preliminary conclusions.  I then stress-test initial conclusions reached by considering other factors, including the client's input.  My attention to detail combined with my industry-insider perspective allows me to formulate effective strategies for a wide range of clients, including policyholders, insurers, reinsurers, lawyers, agents, and brokers.  I work zealously and tirelessly with my clients, and I have a knack for securing favorable dispositions of complex disputed matters.

It's what I do....

My Mission...

My mission is simple - drawing upon my decades of practical hands-on experience, I work toward the client's core objectives providing technical support where needed.  I am flexible to clients' needs in terms of scheduling, availability, and deliverables.  I first seek to understand the client's needs before launching into an engagement, and I'll often partner with others as part of a team with a common goal in mind.  I will only release a superior work-product, and I seek total client satisfaction on all tasks.  Let me help you or your client optimize the outcome of whatever claims issues you might face.

Great results can be had with small forces....
